Bend Track End Module ~ Laying the Road Bed

Again, we refer you to the track laying tips page of our site for details on how to place roadbed and track. This is arguably the most important step of building your module. Be very meticulous in how you align your curves and track. Any significant mistakes will cause problems (like derailments) that can be difficult to correct in the future. After you have placed the track on your module or layout, be sure to test run trains to determine if there are any places that need to be smoothed or corrected. Use long stock cars and engines like auto carriers or steam engines to test your track... they tend to be less forgiving than their shorter counterparts.

Once the track is in place and has passed inspection, its time to move on to painting and laying the ballast. We'll add that section soon!
