Fortunately, an older module was available from someone in our
club, so we didn't have to worry about the bench work part of creating a
module, and we saved a lot of time there. However, we will detail
the bench work part of building a module in future entries.
Below is an image of the module with most of the scenery removed.
we'll need to cut holes in the top to make room for the ravine and the
mountain. Long trains can struggle when presented with steep
inclines, so to ensure smooth operation we are going to keep the track in
this module completely level. we are making cutouts for the mountain
because we want to be able to easily reach trains that might experience
problems in the tunnel and because we want to have easy access to the
motors that we will to use for some of the animation that will appear
on the mountain.
